Get Ready for Back to School!

As we gear up for another exciting school year in Royse City ISD, it’s time to mark your calendars for the 2025–2026 academic schedule.

Waterscape’s brand new onsite elementary school, Paula Walker Elementary School, will be entering its second year of operation and continues to serve grades Kindergarten through 5th, providing a nurturing and engaging environment for young learners.

The school is named in honor of Paula Walker, a beloved educator who devoted 35 years to Texas public education, including 32 years with Royse City ISD. As we begin another year, we’re excited to watch our students continue to grow and succeed. Stay tuned for more updates and let’s make the 2025–2026 school year one to remember!

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 12th and the last day of school is Friday, May 22nd. Below are key dates to remember as you plan your vacations!
